Akumal Bay
Akumal is an ideal place for snorkeling and diving. The marine life along the reef is considered some of the most beautiful in all of Mexico. You can even occasionally observe sea turtles in their natural habitat, mating, swimming, or munching on seaweed. Akumal also hosts a series of underwater ridges honeycombed with caves and separated by canyons where you can spend hours exploring. Amazing giant sponges welcome you to their homes dressed in orange and pink.

Your day at Akumal can be as busy or as quiet and relaxing as you wish. You may even find yourself staying longer than you had planned.
